Black Forest Together (BFT), a community based volunteer effort to assist Black Forest Families affected by the fire, is hosting an Insurance Open House this Saturday at Black Forest Fire Station Number One. Representatives of the Rocky Mountain Insurance Information Association (RMIIA) and the Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Colorado will be joined by representatives from major insurance carriers with the largest number of properties affected by the Black Forest Fire.
Interim Colorado Insurance Commissioner Doug Dean and the Colorado Division of Insurance will be available to answer questions. A representative of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) will host an information table and Mountain Shadows residents who have been through the insurance process on the road to recovery will also be in attendance at this event.

Black Forest residents are invited to drop by anytime during this Insurance Open House to discuss their insurance questions with the experts in attendance.
