Black Forest flash flood warning expires; I-25 corridor remains under watch

A flash flood watch is in effect until 12 p.m. Monday for the I-25 corridor and areas west, including the Black Forest and Waldo Canyon burn areas.

The Black Forest burn area did experience some flooding while under a flash flood warning late Sunday evening, but that warning expired at 11 p.m.

Southwestern Pueblo County, eastern Custer County, and extreme northwestern Huerfano County are under a flash flood warning until 1 a.m. Monday morning. That area includes Colorado City, Rye, Wetmore, Beulah, and San Isabel.
