Bike parking lot offered for Women's Open

The City of Colorado Springs and Mountain Metropolitan's Metro Rides group will offer free bike parking valet service at the U.S. Women's Open golf championship July 7 through 10.
You'll be able to bike to a lot near the Broadmoor at 1601 Mesa Avenue (Pauline Memorial Catholic School) from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
The lot will be staffed by volunteers. Bikers will simply get a receipt for their bike and leave it. You won't even have to lock it up.
The same kind of bike parking lots will be offered at the USA Pro Challenge Bicycle Race and at the Pikes Peak EcoFestival next month.
