Local Big R stores will set aside a portion of sales on Saturday to benefit wounded soldiers.
The Big R chain, headquartered in Pueblo, will take three percent of its gross sales on Saturday and donate the money to the Wounded Warrier Project.
Big R is a western and farm store with outlets scattered around the state including Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Falcon, La Junta, Lamar and Trinidad.
Saturday is Armed Forces Day.
