BOISE, Idaho (AP) - A Boise State spokesman says Big East officials traveled to Idaho and met with university President Bob Kustra.

Spokesman Mike Journee did not share any details of Thursday's on-campus visit. Journee says the university will issue a statement about the meeting later Thursday.

The meeting with Kustra follows a conversation Big East Commissioner John Marinatto and Nick Carparelli, the league's senior associate commissioner, had with Air Force officials in Colorado Springs, Colo., on Wednesday night. It was just an informational meeting and no invitation was extended.

The Big East is looking to possibly add teams such as Houston, SMU and Central Florida in all sports, along with Boise State, Air Force and Navy in football only.

No. 5 Boise State is 7-0 in its first season in the Mountain West.
