ST. LOUIS (AP) - After Wednesday night's rainout, Game 6 of the World Series is scheduled for Thursday night at Busch Stadium with Texas leading St. Louis 3-2.
The starters remain the same--Jaime Garcia for the Cardinals against Colby Lewis of the Rangers. The forecast for Thursday night is decent but chilly--temperatures in the 40s but no rain.
Game 7, if necessary, would be played Friday night. Rangers' manager Ron Washington has said he would go with Matt Harrison in that one. Cards manager Tony La Russa has not indicated a starter, but ace Chris Carpenter would be available on three days' rest.
