Pueblo Municipal Judge William Alexander says he can't recall any worse case of graffiti. Sometime over the weekend Bessemer Park on Northern Avenue was hit by taggers.
Picnic tables, walls, the empty Bessemer Pool, trees, sidewalks and even a memorial to steelworkers was painted. Work crews tackled the clean up today with more paint and paint removal tools.
Damage is estimated at $10,000.
