Update: Authorities have announced the "all-clear" on Bennett Avenue in Cripple Creek, where a suspicious bag sparked the shutdown of several blocks this afternoon.
Authorities brought in the Colorado Springs Police Department's canine unit to investigate the suspicious bag. The bag was not threatening, and everything is back open now. No injuries were reported.
