Wildlife can be a joy--or not--for Colorado residents. One neighborhood in Colorado Springs seems to have more than its fair share of bears. The Cheyenne Meadows Estates has bears every year, foraging for food, wherever it can be found.

At least four brown bears are temporarily calling the area home. On Hope Drive recently a group of human residents watched as one bear climbed high into a large tree, its branches cracking and straining under the weight. A car was moved from underneath and a call made to 9-1-1.

But according to the viewer, the dispatcher said the policy on bears is not to worry about them unless there is a direct danger to humans.
