Barn destroyed by fire in Ellicott

Fire fighters responded to a fire on Houseman road in Eastern El Paso County around 6:00 this evening.
The fire appears to have started in an outbuilding behind the home and spread to the surrounding grassland.
Crews from Ellicott, Falcon and Schriever A.F.B. worked to contain the blaze. No other structures were damaged.
There were no injuries to people at the home, but one fire fighter did sustain a minor wound to a hand.
There is no indication of what caused the fire at this time.
