Bar fight ends with two stabbed one dead in Rocky Ford

Rocky Ford Police report that at 1:09am Saturday calls came in to police reporting a fight a Johnny's Tavern with unknown weapons. When officers arrived they found two men with stab wounds.

The first victim was Keith Ornellas age 22 and the second Joshua Cornell age 18. Both were transported to Arkansas Valley Hospital in La Junta. Ornellas succumbed to his wounds. Cornell was later transported to Pueblo then a Denver area hospital in an unknown condition.

Aaron Rosales age 28 was identified as the suspect and taken into custody where he is being charged with 1st Degree Murder and Attempted 1st Degree Murder. Rosales is being help in Otero County Jail.

Rocky Ford police are also investigating for any liquor violations due to the age of Joshua Cornell as a minor.
