Bank robbery suspect arrested

Colorado Springs police have arrested 28-year-old Matthew Ray as a suspect in two recent bank robberies.
Police think Ray allegedly robbed the Key Bank on 8th Street on May 21 and the Vectra Bank 7300 north Academy on April 27.
Evidence gathered at the scene of the Key Bank robbery led investigators to identify Ray as the suspect and he was taken into custody May 22.
Follow up investigation led investigators to believe Ray was allegedly responsible for the Vectra Bank robbery.
