Balloons a no go

Balloons did not lift off during the first day of the 2011 Colorado Balloon Classic. Winds were in the 40 mph range - around four times the strength then is permitted for pilots to fly in event.
After the fly was cancelled by organizers most of the pilots and those crews, along with the many early risers who wished to see the balloons take off into the majestic Colorado sky, left for the day.
Maybe tomorrow the winds will die down for the balloons to lift off during the 35th Annual Colorado Balloon Classic.
