We just spoke to David Fox, the New Mexican hot air balloon pilot who went down near West Woodman earlier this morning. He tells us during his flight the winds began pushing hard to the north. He and other pilots tell us that type of wind is very uncommon during the Colorado Balloon Classic. Fox says the spot where he landed was the best area in order to avoid power lines and homes. Fox walked away with no injuries. We'll have video from the scene on News 5 at 5:30.
