Back to the Normals

Not much to talk about concerning the weather today.  Mostly sunny skies this morning will at worse turn partly cloudy by afternoon.  High temperatures will be near normal for this time of year.  Highs will range from the 40's in the higher elevations to lower 70's over the southeast Colorado plains.

TUMBLING TEMPERATURES

Most of southern Colorado will start Monday mild, but don't be deceived by the mild air.  A cold front will pass through southern Colorado Monday which will drop temperatures through the day.  Showers will develop on the back side of the front and eventually Monday night the rain will change over to snow.  The snow will continue through Tuesday morning.  There could also be a few passing snow showers Tuesday afternoon.

An average of 4 computer models suggests 0.46" of precipitation for Colorado Springs and 0.32" for Pueblo through Tuesday evening.  Considering both locations are 1.40" below normal since March 1, the precipitation will be welcomed by many.  - Meteorologist John Dissauer
