Award-winning author in Pueblo Tuesday

Fiction writer Steven Wingate will be featured at the Southern Colorado Reading Series Tuesday at 6 p.m.  Wingate is the author of Wifeshopping, which received the Katharine Bakeless Nason Prize from the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference in 2007.

His stories have been published in Gulf Coast and The Journal, Mississippi Review, The Pinch, River City, Green Hills Literary Lantern, Slice, and Quarter After Eight.

His poetry and experimental prose has appeared in Brand (UK), Waccamaw, Sonora Review, and Double Room, as well as in the anthologies Diagram.2 and Degenerative Prose: Writing Beyond Category.

Wingate also has reviewed books for American Book Review, Colorado Review, Rain Taxi, and other journals in print and online.

The reading will be held in the OUC Cottonwood Room, Colorado State University-Pueblo.
