Avs rally falls short in Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Martin St. Louis and Simon Gagne each had a goal and two assists, leading the Tampa Bay Lightning to a 6-5 victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday night.
St. Louis, Mattias Ritola and Gagne scored in the second period to give Tampa Bay a 4-2 advantage.
Paul Stastny, Brandon Yip, Milan Hejduk, Philippe Dupuis and Matt Duchene scored for Colorado.
The Avalanche pulled within one in the third before Ryan Malone scored for Tampa Bay and set up Sean Bergenheim to make it 6-3.
