OTTAWA (AP) - Joakim Lindstrom scored twice and Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 15 saves in his first start for Colorado to help the Avalanche rout the Ottawa Senators 7-1 on Thursday night.
Rookie Gabriel Landeskog, Milan Hejduk and Matt Duchene each had a goal and an assist, Daniel Winnik and David Jones also scored and Ryan O'Reilly had three assists for Colorado. The Avalanche improved to 3-1, going 4 of 6 on the power play.
Milan Michalek had a power-play goal for Ottawa. The Senators are 1-3.
Craig Anderson, playing his first game against his former team, stopped 32 shots.
