Autopsy results of bodies found in Rye arson fire expected Monday

The Pueblo County Coroner started conducting autopsies today on the three bodies found in the Rye house fire.

James Kramer, Pueblo County Coroner, says the preliminary autopsy results will not be released until Monday. During the autopsies, he will be looking for any non-fire related injuries.

Investigators ruled the cause of the fire as arson. They say the fire started in more than one place and that is not normal in a typical house fire.

The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office is still looking for 59-year-old Harry Mapps.

He is a person of interest in the case and investigators want to talk to him. Up until a week ago, he rented a room in the home.

Mapps is described as 6' tall, 135 lbs., with red hair, blue eyes and possibly a greying beard. He may be driving and living in a blue, '04 Chrysler Town and Country minivan, with Texas license plate 7FSNK.

Investigators say they now know he is not using the Colorado license plate previously listed.

Mapps could also be using homeless or veterans services.
