COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Colorado Springs School District 11 says its automated telephone system malfunctioned and called a number of people over the weekend, awakening some in the middle of the night.
Media reports stated the calls went out late Saturday and early Sunday.
It's not clear how many people got calls or what the calls said.
The district emailed an apology and posted it on its Facebook Sunday.
The district says it has a plan in place to avoid a repeat.
