RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) - Fremont County authorities have identified the two people killed in a small plane crash in western Wyoming as a Colorado couple.

Fremont County Coroner Ed McAuslan says the plane crash in the Wind River Range killed 71-year-old Robert A. Dawson and his 69-year-old wife, Elaine, of Parker, Colo.

Riverton radio station KTAK reports that their single-engine plane was found Sunday about 20 miles west of Lander at an elevation of about 11,000 feet. The Federal Aviation Administration says the plane had taken off from Driggs, Idaho, and was en route to a Denver area airport. Federal investigators are looking into the cause of the crash.
