Authorities find lost man in Beaver Creek fire area

An investigation is underway after a man was questioned by authorities near the Beaver Creek Fire. A neighbor near the fire told News First 5 that a man appeared in their backyard early this afternoon asking his daughter for a glass of water. The neighbor tells us the man told his family he had been lost in the forest. The family called authorities and tell us the suspect ran from El Paso County sheriff's deputies. Minutes later reports of a man suffering from smoke inhalation were heard in the same area. A short time later an ambulance left the scene with a U.S. Forest Service Law Enforcement vehicle behind it. We'll have more in a live report on News First 5 at 5:30.
