The Aurora Police Department has made an arrest in Monday's kidnapping. John Stanley Snorsky, 26, of Aurora has been charged with first and second degree burglary and second degree kidnapping. He is being held on $500,000 bond.
Snorsky was arrested Tuesday morning in Aurora with the assistance of the Colorado Department of Corrections Division of Adult Parole for an investigative parole hold on an unrelated case. He has remained in jail since his initial arrest. The Aurora Police Department arrived at probable cause to charge him with the kidnapping Friday. An Adams County arrest warrant for the kidnapping was signed Friday evening.
Aurora police say they received more than 200 tips following the Monday incident. The Division of Adult Parole and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation assisted in this investigation.
The case will now be turned over to the Adams County District Attorney's Office.
