Attempted kidnapping on Pueblo's West side

PUEBLO - On Tuesday May 28th, around 8:00pm, the Pueblo Police dispatch received a call about
another attempted kidnapping that happened in the 1900 block of West 11th. The incident involved an 18 year old female. The female told police that she had been outside her residence checking the fluids in her car as it would not start. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed an
unknown color of truck drive past her at a fast speed. The truck then turned around and drove slowly back towards her. The truck came to a stop very close to her and the male driver asked her if she wanted to go for a ride with him. The female told him to leave, but the male started to exit his vehicle while asking her to get in and go for a ride with him. The female felt like the male was going to grab her so she ran.
The male suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his early 30s who was wearing a white T-shirt and a black baseball cap. The suspect looked like he had a tan from working outside and a tan line from wearing sun glasses. He also had dark colored eyes, possibly black, and spoke with an accent. The truck can only be described as a "dually" type vehicle with four rear tires, dark
tinted windows and two full sized doors The suspect description is similar to the suspect of the attempted kidnapping from the previous day on the East side of town.
If anyone has any information regarding either incidents, you are urged to call Pueblo
Police (553-2502) or Pueblo Crime Stoppers @ 542-STOP (542-7867). You can also
