Arsonist in California guilty for 5 heart attack deaths

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) - A California man who set a wildfire that caused five people to have heart attacks is eligible for the death penalty.

On Wednesday, jurors in San Bernardino convicted 30-year-old Rickie Fowler of arson and murdering five men who suffered heart attacks after their homes burned to the ground or as they rushed to evacuate.

The sentencing phase begins Monday.
