Arrest in gruesome murder case

News First 5 has confirmed the arrest of a Penrose man in connection with the murder of a Florence woman. Rebecca Magallanes' torso was found back in November out in Custer County. It took months to figure out who she was.
The District Attorney in Canon City, Thom LeDoux, tells us John Williams was arrested Thursday. The Fremont County Sheriff's office and Canon City Police are planning a news conference for Friday to give us more information. We'll bring it to you as soon as we get it.
