A Chicago man accused of planning a violent attack on a Danish newspaper and laying the groundwork for the 2008 terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India, is set to be arraigned.
Tahawwur Hussain Rana will appear in federal court Monday in Chicago.
Rana is one of two men accused of planning an attack on the Danish newspaper whose cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad sparked outrage in the Muslim world.
He's also one of four men indicted in Chicago on charges of helping to lay the groundwork for the November 2008 attacks that killed 166 people in the Indian city of Mumbai.
The 49-year-old owns a Chicago-based immigration service.
He has been held in custody as his attorney battles to win his release on bond.
