Arbor Day means trees

NeighborWorks of Pueblo will give away trees this afternoon as part of Arbor Day.
NeighborWorks is a non-profit organization dedicated to neighborhood revitalization. From 1 to 3 p.m. NeighborWorks at 1241 E. Routt Ave. will give away Blue Spruce and Red Cedar trees. One hundred twenty five trees will be given away to commemorate the 125th birthday of the Bessemer area of Pueblo.
The town of Bessemer was later absorbed by the City of Pueblo. Bessemer was named after a steel-making process.
