Apply now for Thanksgiving food baskets in Pueblo

Thanksgiving is still almost two months away, but now is the time to apply for a food basket if you're having trouble making ends meet.
Tom & Louie's Cupboard in Pueblo is accepting applications Oct. 5 - Nov. 5. The application process is being handled by the Boys & Girls Club. Phone 564-0055 to apply for a food basket or to recommend a family that is needy, but too proud to ask for help.
Tom & Louie's Cupboard is a living memorial for two Catholic priests, Fathers Tom Scheets and Louis Stovik, who were brutally murdered in their parsonage by a mentally ill neighbor.
Last year, 425 families received Thanksgiving baskets from Tom & Louie's Cupboard.
