Apartment fire in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs fire department are in the final stages of cleaning up an early morning apartment complex caught fire just after 3:00 a.m. this morning. It happened at 2615 Airport Road.  Also, eastbound Airport road between Chelton and Academy will be closed while the fire department work on the scene. 

Springs fire department say that part of the apartment complex caught on fire, they believe that the fire may have started in one of the stairwells in the complex. 

At the time, 13 of the apartments in the complex were occupied.  There are no injuries reported, but reports say that all of the occupants in the complex are displaced at this time.
