Apartment Fire in Colorado Springs

2 Apartments were damaged by fire in Colorado Springs tonight. The fire broke out just before 7 p.m. at the Apollo Park Executive Suites on Circle drive.

Lt. Chriss Soppe says 25 firefighters reponded, because the apartment was hard to reach. Firefighters were able to get the fire out in about 2 minutes. The apartment upstairs was also damaged. Luckily, no one was hurt. People living in that building tell us they ran outside after hearing the alarms go off. They were outside for about an hour, before they could go back in.

There was no one in the apartment at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
