The City of Pueblo Wastewater Division says two more Pueblo streets will be limited to one-lane traffic starting Friday morning to allow for sewer main work.
A sewer line in the alley on 6th Street between Grand and Greenwood is the newest problem. The sewer main is broken, and will have to be dug up. The entire alley between those streets will be closed for the work, and parking will be limited.
The project will also involve digging up manholes on both Grand and Greenwood. Traffic during construction will be restricted to one lane southbound on Grand and one lane northbound on Greenwood. The work is expected to last about a week.
Traffic continues to be restricted on Court Street between 6th and 7th Streets. Crews began work Tuesday morning to replace a sewer main that caused a sinkhole in that area late last week. That repair job is expected to wrap up around the middle of next week.
