Another Ft. Carson soldier dead in Afghanistan

The Department of Defense has announced the death of another soldier in Afghanistan. Pfc. JR Salvacion, 27, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii died February 21 at Senjaray, Afghanistan from wounds suffered when his unit was attacked with an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry at Fort Carson.
