Another beautiful day is in store for not only Southern Colorado but for the entire state. Expect lots of sunshine for the day today plus comfortable, above average temperatures. Highs will be about 10 degrees warmer this afternoon with most spots topping out in the 70s.
The above average temperatures will continue into the workweek as a ridge of a high pressure builds in over the state Monday with highs in the 70s/80s across the region for the first day of the workweek. The warm and dry conditions will stick around through the middle of the week.
A storm system will impact Colorado Thursday into Friday bringing precipitation to the mountains, storms to the Eastern Plains, and possibly a few isolated showers along the Front Range. Temperatures will fall back to more seasonal readings next weekend behind this system.
