All major roads reopen, except CO-86

State Highway 86 between Kiowa and I-70 remained the only major roadway in the state to be closed late Sunday afternoon. All other closed roadways, including I-70 on the eastern plains, State Highways 94 and 71, and U.S. Highways 287 and 385, had been cleared of snow and accidents and were reopened. The Colorado Department of Transportation says Highway 86 remained covered by four-foot snowdrifts in some places as of Sunday afternoon.
