ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - A 25-year-old Anchorage woman accused of pouring gasoline on her sleeping boyfriend and then setting him ablaze is scheduled to be arraigned Monday on murder, arson and other charges. Gina Virgilio is accused of starting the fire that killed Michael Gonzalez on Friday. According to charging documents, police allege that she confessed to a family member and witnesses but didn't provide a motive. During a police interview, Virgilio claimed Gonzalez was sipping gasoline and spitting it on the couch and carpet. When he lit a piece of paper, she ran from the apartment, saying it was "him or me," according to charging documents. But police say her story changed throughout the daylong interview. Police arrested her Saturday, based on confessions she allegedly made to her mother and a hospital nurse.
