Alamosa coldest city in the nation again today

The first Sunday of the New Year got off to a very cold start today. In Colorado Springs the low temperature was 9 degrees, Pueblo 1. Frigid air remains trapped in the high mountain valleys. Gunnison had a low this morning of 24 degrees below zero. Alamosa had the coldest air in the country with a low of 31 degrees below zero.
