The Colorado Springs Airport will conduct a mass casualty exercise on Thursday 9:00 a.m.
The Federal Aviation Administration requires all airports with scheduled air carrier service to conduct a mass casualty exercise every three years. Thursday's exercise gives the Colorado Springs Airport the opportunity to bring multiple emergency response agencies together under a single command to exercise rescue, triage and transportation of approximately 80 volunteer "victims."
