Asher Clark is no longer a cadet at the US Air Force Academy. An Academy spokesperson confirmed that the four year starter is no longer enrolled but couldn't comment as to the cause of his expulsion citing privacy laws.
Frank Schwab at the Gazette reports that Clark was disenrolled as part of an investigation into illegal drug use. That investigation began in January and involves as many as 31 cadets who are suspected of using banned substances other than alcohol, tobacco or prescription medications.
Clark did not visit the White House last month when the President Obama presented the Falcons Football team with Commander and Chiefs Trophy. He rushed for nearly 3,594 yards during his career at the Academy, second only to quarterback Dee Dowis record of 3,612 yards.
