The Air Academy High School swimming and diving team is helping in the fight against testicular cancer.
The team held a free car wash at Foothills Swim and Racquet Club Saturday; they took donations for the Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation based out of Grand Junction.
Of course, being the swim and dive team, they went to work in their usual uniforms -- swimsuits!
"I think some of the guys were a little tentative, but you know it's all in the name of good fun and I think we're all going to get some great tans," says Justin Dearden, a member of the Air Academy team.
If you missed the Saturday car wash you can still help out; you can contact the Air Academy Swim and Dive program, or you can donate to the foundation directly under the team's name. For more information you can email justin_dearden@yahoo.com, or click here to visit the foundation's website.
