Air Academy senior is Athlete of the Week

It is high school basketball championship week and that means our Loaf 'N Jug Gatorade Athlete of the Week plays for one of the top hoops teams in the state.
Congrats to Kellyn Roiko of Air Academy High School. The senior guard has helped lead the Kadets to this week's 4A girls final four.
Her teammates call her the glue, as she does all the little things to help her team win.
Air Academy just knocked off Broomfield and will now play Pueblo West in Wednesday's semifinals in Boulder. Kellyn says she can't wait.
"It's just unreal because we've been dreaming about this since the fourth grade," said Kellyn. "All of us girls playing together, and to be here and be this close, it's really exciting."
Kellyn is also a standout track and cross country runner. She hopes to do that and photography and design in college. She also leads her Fellowship of Christian Athletes group and has a 4.2 GPA.
