The recently released arrest affidavit in the case of a Pueblo man's murder explains what led police to arrest 25-year-old Aaron Wilkerson.

Robert Piserchio's body was found bound by duct tape, beaten and burned on Dec. 10, according to the affidavit. Deputies matched bloody fingerprint found on a roll of duct tape at Robert Piserchio's home to Wilkerson, the report said. Wilkerson's roommates also told detectives he came home the morning of Piserchio's death with blood on his shirt and shoes, it said.

Seven days after Piserchio's death, Wilkerson was linked to an armed robbery. While searching the car involved, Colorado Springs police found an autographed football signed by John Elway. They believe that football was taken from Piserchio's home.

The report doesn't say how Wilkerson ended up at Piserchio's home or if the two knew each other.
