AFA taking some time off

Perhaps they're all in Fort Worth to watch the Air Force Falcons football team in the bowl game--or having bowl game parties in Colorado Springs. Whatever the reaon, you'll have to pick another time to take visiting relatives to the Academy. They're closed both Thursday and Friday.

Here's a complete schedule:

Visitor Center:

New Years Eve – Closed
New Years Day – Closed
Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010 – Resume normal hours of operation, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Sat.-Sun.

Cadet Chapel:
New Years Eve – Open 9.a.m.-5. p.m., except 2 p.m.-4 p.m. when the Protestant Chapel will be closed to the public for a wedding New Years Day – Closed
Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010 – Resume normal hours of operation, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Mon- Sat.; Noon-5 p.m., Sunday
