The Air Force Academy plans to use a $5 million donation from a graduate to build a new indoor athletic training facility.

It's the largest gift from a graduate in the Academy's history.

The center is scheduled for completion in early 2011 and will consist of a regulation-sized football field, which can also be used for lacrosse and soccer. The Falcons are currently the only service academy without a dedicated indoor training facility.

Air Force director of athletics Hans Mueh calls it a "tremendous step forward for the athletics program."

The donation comes from 1965 graduate Bart Holaday and his wife, Lynn.
