A Centennial administrator has been transferred months after an incident involving cheerleaders who were caught drinking alcohol at school. Three cheerleaders were caught with alcohol on November 20, but it appears they weren't immediately punished.

In December Pueblo City Schools confirmed one school administrator had been placed on leave over the incident. While the district will not give us the name of the administrator, we do know Centennial Assistant Principal Sal Gallegos was transferred last week to work at the Pueblo Youth Services detention facility.

The cheerleaders were suspended and eventually ticketed.

Also, the Pueblo Police Department says a school resource officer was re-assigned to patrol duty, for failing to write the students a ticket.
