Actor Charlie Sheen has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge in a domestic abuse case in exchange for dismissal of two other charges, including a felony.
Sheen entered the plea Monday in court in Aspen, the scene of a Christmas Day argument with his wife that ended in his arrest.
Sheen, star of CBS' "Two and a Half Men," was sentenced to 30 days in a rehabilitation center, 30 days of probation and 36 hours of anger management. He has 30 days to make arrangements for his sentence at Promises Treatment Center in California, though whether he'll actually report there is in question. Sheen's attorney, Yale Galanter, says the actor already has spent 93 days this year at Promises, which could choose to credit that time toward the sentence.
