Activists Rally For Islamic Center Near Ground Zero

NEW YORK (AP) - About 1,000 activists are rallying a few blocks
from ground zero in support of plans to build an Islamic community
center nearby. A smaller group of opponents also turned out,
chanting, "USA, USA." The demonstrations follow a three-hour
ceremony at the World Trade Center site marking the ninth
anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.
