He fought the law and won. Now leukemia patient Bob Crouse says he wants his medical marijuana back. Crouse was arrested last year and charged with two felony counts after police officers seized over 50 marijuana plants and between 5-6 pounds of refined marijuana from his home. He was found not guilty in June on both charges.
Crouse says the treatment he was making required large volumes of marijuana to appropriately treat his cancer. The concentrated marijuana-based liquid is not commercially available and certainly not regulated by the Food and Drug Administration. But Crouse say's it's dramatically improved his health.
Tonight on News 5 after the game, Crouse explains why he wants to keep fighting the district attorney to release the evidence from his case.
