Academy Scholars Program Director - AFA

The ASPD is responsible for leading the full range of ASP efforts, including oversight of all ASP courses; coordination among and mentorship of all participating faculty; development, execution and reporting of an annual program budget; selecting, tracking and assessing cadets in the ASP; arranging and executing a spring ceremony for cadets meeting ASP requirements; convening the ASP Council; participating in regional and national NCHC events; serving as the faculty representative for the Academy Fellows Program; preparing and presenting an ASP annual report; and aligning the ASP, where appropriate, with NCHC standards and best practices. The Director will take a leadership role with other Academy personnel in encouraging a culture that values and promotes the Academy Scholars Program and its ideals at USAFA.
