Academy Boulevard to be closed for 10 hours Saturday

Academy Boulevard will be closed from Bradley to Drennan in both directions from 2 a.m. to noon on Saturday for continuing road construction on Proby Parkway.
For those ten hours northbound Academy Boulevard traffic will be detoured at the Bradley Road Exit. Southbound Academy traffic will be detoured to eastbound Drennan Road to southbound Hancock Expressway. This closure is required for the placement of concrete on the new bridge over Academy Boulevard. This bridge will eventually allow motorists traveling south on Academy Boulevard to access the new Milton E. Proby Parkway.
